How do I test an SRT stream?

Enter the full SRT URL of your source, including the port, for example srt://203.0.113.10:9000. If your source requires a stream ID or passphrase, include them as query parameters (?streamid=... or ?passphrase=...). We connect and play about a minute of live video in your browser.

Why can't the tool connect to my SRT source?

The tool connects in caller mode, so your source or gateway must be running in listener mode on a port reachable from the internet. A source that is itself a caller (pushing to a specific address) can't be tested this way.

Which port should I use?

SRT URLs always need an explicit port — there is no default SRT port. Use the port your encoder or gateway is listening on, for example srt://your-host:9000.

Is the stream recorded?
